Hours after the Italian authorities requested information from Deepseek about how the company processes the user data, the Chinese starting application app is no longer available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
The application won the first place in downloading charts in multiple countries, including in the United States where there are in the first place for most of the applications that were downloaded on both the application store and the Play Store.
Consumer coalition called EuroConsumers a complaint with Italian DPA regarding personal Deepseek practices to deal with data. The authorities said today that they wrote to Debsik for information, with a deadline for a 20 -day response.
The main concern is that according to the Dibsic privacy policy, it stores information on the servers in China.
“Where we transfer any personal information outside the country in which you live, including for or more purposes as shown in this policy, we will do so according to the requirements of the applicable data protection laws,” Read politics.
Although the Italian DPA was the first authority to complain about the Deepseek privacy policy, other observers in Europe stated that all services will need to respect the rules of data protection in the region without explicitly mentioning Deepseek.
Apple and Google did not immediately comment on the story.
