With the fate of Tiktok in the United States, it is not certain-its ban has been stopped in the country, but only temporarily, thanks to the executive order by President Donald Trump-owned the owned by the owners of Android devices now to download its video application on their phones and tablets.
The company announced on Friday X post Its Android app will be available for direct download on the Tiktok.com/download website. This allows the use of Android feature that allows users to download applications outside the Google Play store. A similar option is not yet available on iPhone outside the European Union.
The Android application download is provided as the Android package group, known more as the APK file, which contains the application, assets and other resources that Tiktok needs to run.
By submitting an independent download, TIKTOK can at least avoid banning the current application store, which still prevents Google Play and Apple App Store from hosting the application while the ban app remains suspended.
