Andy Cruz (5-0, 2 KOs) says he heads to Keshawn Davis and Shakur Stevenson in a “weird” meeting following his 10-round unanimous decision win over Omar Salcedo (20-2, 14 KOs) at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas on Saturday night.

Shakur expressed his admiration for lightweight contender Cruz’s win, saying he looked “amazing.” Keyshawn looked in shock, as if he had seen a ghost, and you can see by looking at him that Cruz’s performance tonight had intimidated him, bringing back flashbacks of his victory over him in the 2020 Olympics.
If there was any chance of Keshawn fighting Cruz soon, it was gone with his performance tonight because he is better than he was five years ago when he taught him at the Olympics. Cruz’s coach, Derek “Boosie” Ennis, is turning him into a more offensive fighter who sits on shots more. In the 10th round, Cruz hurt Salcedo badly and was forced to stand down.
