People often use multiple applications for notes, managing the schedule, and entry. But why not collect They all in one application? This is the soul behind heroApply the product of all in one with Amnesty International (of course!).
The iOS app has been developed by former Meta employees Brad Kowalk and Seung W. Lee. Both met while working on Facebook stories where Kowalk was the product manager and Lee was an engineer. Kowalk also worked on new experiences of artificial intelligence in the company until 2022.
“When we started working on a new project after working in Meta, we didn’t want to work on something I felt as if we were helping people wasting time. We really wanted to create something that helps people save time.”
To date, the company collected $ 4 million of seed financing from InstaCart Max Mullen, founder of Dropbox Arash Ferdowsi, Cheif Strategy Officer in Adobe, Scott Bilsky, Ventu Reo NEO And abstract.
Mulin, who met the founders participating in Hero through another company in which he invested, said he admired the start -up vision.
“Hero had a clear vision of how he wanted to convert the way people think about artificial intelligence applications. I think many consumer applications will have audio facades and assistants like Hero, which tries to become a daily application in order not to need multiple applications.”
Moulin said that the hero will be useful for families and friends of friends because they will not need to use many applications to coordinate with each other.
The same application contains one screen where you can see the current table, weather, task menu, grocery menu, and your notes. In addition to the screen, you have a daily summary in the form of Instagram stories that contain your schedule, news summary, and daily quote.
You can add people like friends, family or teammates to the calendar to see their schedule or even share tasks and notes with them. If they are on the app, they can also comment on anything, such as common or important events. (Currently, you can share tasks in formatting a friend of messages for people who are not on the app.)
You can also create an event, remind, note, or add a grocery element through the integrated AI assistant. The assistant can answer your inquiries using Confusion AI, you can save searches on the web as a note.
In addition, the assistant helps you create lists or notes. For example, you can customize a note saying “movies like challengers”, click the “Suggest” button, and create a new menu.

Kowalk believes that due to the high number of artificial intelligence tools available to people, they will not eventually use various applications such as multiple evaluation applications, reminder, notes and weather.
“There will be two categories of applications in the near future. Slage chat app like ChatGPT or Google Gemini and the expression that shows your day. This application will bring your full day to one place and will work with your friends and family with an intelligence layer above it. We want to be this application.”
He pointed out that when you use multiple applications, there is an opportunity to switch applications, forget what it means doing and opening Tiktok or YouTube. He also pointed out that couples – due to the advantages of social coordination – and the people who have just finished from the college and are looking for a new productivity procedure that are attracted to this application on things such as Google Calendar.
The app is free, and the company plans to keep it in this way.
Currently, users can click on the InstaCart icon in the grocery menu to search for all items and put an order. The company takes a reduction in these transactions.
Kowalk said this is the field to achieve the income that the company wants to focus on moving forward.
Hero is currently improving the audio reaction with an assistant, building customs and tracking goals, and a feature to add events, task and notes from a picture or screen shot.
