WBC Silver champion Dalton Smith stopped Walid Ouizza and scored a pair of knockdown holds at the end of the first round to capture the vacant EBU lightweight title on Saturday night at the Nottingham Arena, Nottingham, in Nottinghamshire, England.

In the main event, Smith, 17-0(13), defeated Ouizza, 19-3(8) at the end of the first round of a scheduled 12 round bout.
In the final minute of the first round, Smith dropped Oza with a left to the chin for an 8-count from referee John Luna Fernandez. On the rise, Uiza was met with a flurry of punches from Smith, as she was taken down again, causing Fernandez to rule wisely.
British, Commonwealth and IBF EBU bantamweight champion Harry ‘Awful’ Scarff, 13-4(3), was upset by Conah ‘Wolf’ Walker, 15-3-1(6) at 1:23 of the eleventh of a scheduled 12 rounds.


Scarff turns to the southpaw a minute later in the first round, mainly landing and taking the round. In the third round, Scarff tapped Walker on the chin, earning a warning from referee Michael Alexander.
In the fourth round Walker’s right eye has some swelling underneath. In the sixth round, Walker never stopped moving forward, going to the body for Scarfe due to the constant blow to the face.
This action was even better in the final minute of the eighth round, as Hangout and Walker both allowed their first win. In the ninth and tenth rounds, Scarfe regained control.
In the eleventh round, Walker suddenly had Scarff in trouble with a right hook to the chin, after Scarff had been hurt. Walker followed with a flurry ending with a right, dropping Scarff for an 8 count from referee Alexander. On the rise, Walker was all over Scarff, causing referee Alexander to call a major stoppage.
IBF and WBO World Super Bantamweight Champion Ellie Scotney, 10-0), defeated Ibo World Bantamweight Mea’ Night Motu, 20-1 (8) over 10 x 2 rounds.
In the first round, Moto cut Scotney on the left eye as she came forward. Scotney got the best of the second and third rounds. Muto got the best of the fourth round, taking her first round.
In the sixth round, Scottney lands a lead on the chin in the final minute. In the seventh round, Mutu came back in a close round.
Scotney edged Moto by eighths to tenths, although Moto stayed put throughout.

Super Rightweight Southpaw Ibraheem ‘Spider’ Sulaimaan, 7-0(4) defeated Reuquen Arce, 18-18-2(7) over eight rounds.
In the third round, both boxers have bloody noses. Arce continues to come forward and counters Southpaw Sulaimaan with strikes. In the sixth round, Arce comes in low and hits Sulaimaan on top on the chin.
In the seventh round from the final seconds, Suleiman landed a combination, knocking off balance. In the eighth and final rounds, in the final forty seconds, Sulaiman landed a lead left on the chin, getting ARCE’s attention.
