When INTEL obtained grants of grant funds in November, the company said it is planning to put money towards advanced manufacturing and packing, or towards collecting and integrating multiple semiconductor chips into one pack. This will be implemented in Intel facilities throughout the state of Arizona, New Mexico, Ouheyu and Oregon.
The American Chips and Science Law in Federal Law was signed by former President Joe Biden in 2022 in an attempt to increase the manufacture of semiconductors. The law put 52 billion dollars as support for local chips manufacturers.

Zinsner had pink expectations though. When an analyst was asked, he said that Intel was already in contact with the Trump administration and “is really satisfied” about the administration’s view of the re -manufacturing of semiconductors to the United States.
“We look forward to continuous communication with the Trump administration and we are advancing this work and supporting their efforts to enhance American technology and lead manufacturing,” Zenner said, earlier on the call.
