Amazon is the latest company that announces a rise in prices for subscriptions that flow music. The company revealed this week that the price of an unlimited individual plan for Amazon Music for Prime members is transferred from $ 9.99 per month to $ 10.99.
As for subscribers who do not have a prime membership, their subscription price moves from $ 10.99 per month to $ 11.99. In addition, the Amazon Music Unlimited family plan now costs $ 19.99 per month, an increase of the previous $ 3.99.
Pricing changes are larger than Amazon music service with Spotify, which increased the price of a premium plan from $ 10.99 to $ 11.99 last June. Amazon’s and Spotify individual plans have become more expensive than Music and Apple Music’s, both of them at $ 10.99. However, Amazon still provides one discount of dollars to Prime members.

Price changes came into effect on Wednesday for new customers who share a plan. Existing customers will see the updated pricing on the date of the next monthly renewal bills, in or after March 5, 2025.
Amazon last time increased the price of music broadcast subscriptions in August 2023. The company had the same message to raise prices at that time, noting that it was to bring “more content and features” to subscribers.
