The European Central Bank announced the reduction of the interest rate of 25 Basis on Thursday, as expected, in its fifth reduction since the central bank began to reduce monetary policy in June of last year.
The reduction leads to raising facilities for the deposit of the European Central Bank, and its main average, to 2.75 %. The markets were pricing with a chance of more than 90 % of 25 Basis points before advertising.
