After another flawless Canelo Alvarez performance last night, no one can argue that he is pound for pound for the best boxer in the world right now.
I’ve created a video below where I talk about where I think Alvarez stands in the TBE (best of the best) category and I’m sure your choice in the matter will shock you even more.
During his fight last night, I was thinking of Canelo’s Avni Yildirim style. But then I thought well his style is not made for Canelo. He has dominated a lot of those he has faced other than Floyd Mayweather, but that was when Alvarez was only 23 years old.
Alvarez is the most improved fighter I have ever seen, he just keeps getting better.
Now he was matched against my fellow Olympian and friend Billy Joe SaundersI think this is the only fight everyone wants to see.
And I’m very excited about it. Will Canelo finally meet someone who has the style to stop him from continuing to make history or will he go on and continue to be the greatest of all time?
